Privacy Policy
MyRate FX ("the app") helps you compare bank exchange rates. We designed it to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.
What we do NOT collect
No account or sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, bank credentials, or any financial account information. The app never asks you to log in.
Data stored on your device
Your preferences — such as selected country, favorite banks, chosen language, and the last amount you entered — are stored locally on your device only. They are not transmitted to us and are removed if you uninstall the app.
Information sent when the app fetches rates
To show exchange rates, the app requests rate data from our servers (api.myratefx.com). These requests do not include any personal information. As with any internet request, our servers may process technical data such as your IP address and app version to deliver the response and protect the service; this is not used to identify you and is not sold.
Advertising
The mobile app may display ads served by Google AdMob. To provide ads, Google and its partners may collect and use certain device information (for example, advertising identifiers) in accordance with Google's own policies. You can learn more and manage choices here:

The web version of MyRate FX (app.myratefx.com) does not show ads.
Children
MyRate FX is a general-audience financial utility and is not directed at children under 13.
Rate accuracy
Exchange rates shown are indicative, derived from publicly published bank data, and may differ from the final rate applied at the time of a transaction. MyRate FX is independent and not affiliated with any listed bank.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
