Scope. This policy covers the website at myratefx.com. The MyRate FX mobile app is a separate service and collects different data — see the app privacy policy.
Who is responsible
MyRate FX operates this website and decides how the data described here is used. For any privacy question, or to exercise any right below, email support@myratefx.com. We answer within one month.
Analytics cookies — only if you say yes
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. Nothing is stored on your device until you accept. Analytics storage is switched off by default and only turns on if you press Accept in the cookie banner; if you press Reject, no analytics cookies are written and no measurement happens. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
We do not use advertising cookies on this website, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never sell your data.
Email subscriptions
If — and only if — you fill in an email form on this site, we store your address so we can send you what you asked for. We ask for consent explicitly, with an unticked box, separately from any other action, and we record the exact wording you were shown, in the language you were shown it in, along with the date. That record is how we can prove your consent was real.
Confirmation is required. After you subscribe we send one email asking you to confirm. If you do not confirm, we never send you anything else and the pending record is deleted within 30 days.
Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing is immediate and permanent unless you sign up again. We do not buy, rent, scrape or exchange email lists, and we do not send to anyone who has not confirmed.

We store a hash of your IP address with the consent record, never the address itself, because we only need to show that a real, distinct request happened — not to identify you.
Who else sees it
Google (analytics, only after you accept) and our email delivery provider, which transmits the messages you asked for. Nobody else. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK or another region with similar law, you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; or send it to you in a portable format. Withdrawing consent is always as easy as giving it — one click in any email, or clearing this site's data for analytics. Withdrawal does not affect what happened before it.
Email support@myratefx.com and we will act within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This site is a general-audience financial utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Rate accuracy
Exchange rates shown are indicative, derived from each bank's own publicly published data, and may differ from the rate applied when you actually transact. MyRate FX is independent, is not affiliated with any listed bank, and nothing here is financial advice.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change. If a change materially affects an existing subscription, we will say so by email.
